Indesit sits at the accessible end of the market, so one question deserves answering before any other: does this fault justify the money? We answer it at the visit, and sometimes the answer loses us the booking.
We are an independent repair company โ not an authorized service center for Indesit or for any other dishwasher brand. The Indesit name appears here only to identify the machines we work on, and remains the property of its owner.

Indesit dishwasher repair in Dubai should open with something most callers never get offered: an honest verdict on whether the fault justifies the spend at all. Indesit is engineered to an accessible price, and that price is a large part of why the machine was chosen. A failure that would be obviously worth fixing on a premium built-in is not automatically worth fixing here, and pretending otherwise helps nobody except the invoice.
Ignoring the question is the easy trade. Attend, name a component, fit it, collect. Nobody argues in the moment. Then the wash motor gives out a month later and the customer has paid twice over on a machine that was already finished. We would rather lose that first payment.
Faults on these machines sort into three groups, and the group is what sets the answer. The first group is almost always worth repairing: drain pumps, inlet valves, door latches and interlocks, door seals, spray arms, drain hoses and non-return flaps. Small parts, short jobs, no dismantling of the tub. Whenever one of those is the finding on a machine that still washes properly, the repair pays for itself long before a replacement would.
The second group sits on the line and has to be judged individually: heating circuits and electronic control boards. Both can be perfectly sensible repairs on a younger machine and quietly absurd on a worn one. What tips them is rarely the fault by itself, it is what surrounds it.
The third group usually marks the end of a sensible life. A combined wash pump and heater assembly failing on an older machine, or a leak from the tub itself rather than from a hose or a seal, means paying a large share of a replacement to keep something already deep into its wear curve. When we find that, we say it plainly, we explain what we saw, and you pay for the diagnosis alone. Nothing about that is good for our day.
One brief local note, because it is widely misreported. Dubai supply is very largely desalinated and arrives soft rather than hard, so the descaling routines advertised locally do not fit the water. Do not run your machine on a maximum hardness setting or keep topping up salt out of habit; follow the manual and confirm with a test strip. What genuinely causes trouble here is sediment carried from building storage tanks, which silts the fine mesh screen at the inlet valve and shows itself as slow filling or a fill fault, not as scale.
It also helps to define what worth means here, because it is not only the price of the part. Three things go into the answer: what the component and the labour come to, how much serviceable life the rest of the machine plausibly has left, and whether the cause of the failure has been dealt with or merely the symptom. A pump fitted into a machine whose waste line still runs uphill will fail again, and the second visit is the one that turns a good repair into a bad decision.
A surprising number of complaints on these machines trace back to installation rather than to a fault at all. Drain hoses set with no rise at the back, or looped so high the pump cannot clear them, blanking plugs left in the sink waste spigot by whoever fitted the kitchen, a machine wedged so tightly into its housing that the door no longer sits square against the seal. None of those need a spare part. All of them get quoted as one somewhere.
Everything below is arranged the way we work: symptom first, cheapest plausible cause first, measurement rather than assumption, and a verdict you can act on before a single part is ordered.
Modest parts, single-visit jobs, and no reason to talk anyone into a new machine.
No fill, slow fill, or a fill fault raised early. The mesh screen is cleaned and the coil measured before the valve is condemned.
The machine will not accept a start, or drops out when the door is nudged. Switch continuity is proved with the door held closed.
Water sitting in the base. The impeller is freed and the sump cleared first, since obstruction beats failure by a wide margin.
A puddle appearing at the front edge. Hardened or torn gaskets are a quick change, and far cheaper than a floor repair.
Blocked jets, a cracked arm, or one that no longer spins freely. Cheap plastic, and the single biggest lift in wash results.
Often no part at all. Silted filters, a propped non-return flap and a badly routed hose fix on labour alone.

Heating. On older layouts the element is a separate item bolted through the tub, and replacing it is a contained job worth doing on almost any machine still in good order. On many current designs the heater is a flow-through unit integrated with the wash pump, which means the two are supplied together as one assembly. Same symptom, entirely different bill. We establish which arrangement your model uses from the rating plate before we discuss money, because guessing that detail is how customers end up quoted twice.
Control boards. Electronics are among the dearer parts on a machine of this class, and some need matching to the model before they will run properly. On a young Indesit with a sound tub, a board is defensible. On a machine already carrying other wear it rarely is. Before anything is blamed on the board we prove the components it drives, because a healthy board commanding a dead valve looks precisely like a dead board.
The wash pump and heater assembly on an older machine. This is where the honest answer usually turns negative. A bearing that rumbles, a weeping shaft seal or a stalled motor, on a unit that carries the heater with it, costs a serious fraction of a replacement to put right, and the rest of the machine has aged alongside it. We will show you the wear on the door springs, the seal and the sump so the verdict is visible rather than asserted.
A leak from the tub itself. Corrosion at a seam or a split in the tub is the clearest stop signal in the appliance. Sealants applied to a pressurised, heated, chemically loaded vessel do not last, and the leak returns wetting a kitchen floor. Nobody should be sold that repair.
Faults arrive in groups. Two borderline findings on one older machine is a replacement, even though either alone might have been fine. That is the judgement customers most often want made for them, and it is the one we are willing to make out loud, knowing exactly what it costs us to say it.
Codes are a starting point, not a diagnosis. A fault code on an Indesit narrows the search to a circuit, and that is all it is entitled to do. A code raised against heating can come from an open element, from a temperature sensor drifting out of range, from a wiring connector that has corroded in a damp plinth, or from water arriving too hot for the cycle to complete its heating step. Forum lists that translate a code straight into a part are the reason machines get parts fitted that were never faulty, and on a value machine that mistake alone can push the running total past what a replacement would have cost.
What you can safely check first. Switch the machine off at the socket, lift the filter assembly out, rinse it, look for anything holding the non-return flap open, and unclip the spray arms to flush the jets. That much is genuinely a homeowner job and it settles a fair number of complaints. Stop there. Nothing behind the fascia, nothing involving mains wiring, and nothing that means breaking into pressurised plumbing.
Symptom first, cheapest cause first, and a verdict on the whole machine before a part is ordered.
What the machine does, at which point of the cycle it does it, what the display or the light pattern shows, and when it started.
Model and serial identify whether the heater stands alone or comes with the pump, and whether the parts are still supplied. Both change the price.
Filter stack, sump well, spray jets, hose routing and the sink waste connection. A useful share of visits are finished at this step.
Isolated at the socket: element resistance, valve coil, latch switch continuity, sensor value. Components are condemned by a reading.
Door springs and hinges, seal condition, tub and sump corrosion, basket rails, bearing noise under load. This is what sets the verdict.
Repair, or a recommendation not to. If it goes ahead, the fault, the fix and the price are agreed with you before work begins.
The same fault can belong in either column. What decides it is the machine around it.
These are contained jobs on inexpensive components. On any Indesit that still washes and dries acceptably, they return their cost quickly and we will fit them without a speech about replacement.
Cabinet Decision 66/2023 fixes fifteen days as the statutory minimum warranty on repair work in the UAE, alongside a documented estimate, your consent before work starts and an itemised invoice afterwards. Ours runs to ninety days. If the machine is still covered by its original manufacturer warranty, contact the brand before contacting us.

Everything we cover on dishwashers, from freestanding units to fully integrated installations.
Standing water at the end of the cycle, worked through filter, sump and waste line in order.
One of the cheap repairs. Cleared and tested before any pump is quoted.
Nothing happens on start, or the cycle drops out. Usually a switch, rarely the board.
Cold dishes and wet plastics. Where the borderline pricing question is settled.
Apartment kitchens with tight under-counter openings and shared waste stacks.
That depends on which component failed, and on nothing anybody can judge down the phone. A drain pump, an inlet valve, a door latch or a set of spray arms are modest parts fitted inside one visit, and on any Indesit still washing acceptably they are worth doing. A wash pump and heater assembly on a machine that already has slack door springs and a hardened seal is a different conversation. We diagnose, identify the part against the rating plate, then tell you which side of that line your machine falls on.
Age settles nothing by itself. Machines that had their filter rinsed and their seal wiped run for a very long time, while others fail early because the drain hose was installed badly and never corrected. Three things decide the verdict: which component actually failed, what the rest of the machine looks like once the panels are off, and whether the part is still supplied for that model. A tired seal, a rumbling wash bearing and a pitted sump together mean replacement. A single failed valve on a sound tub does not.
For the common items, generally yes. Indesit belongs to a large multinational group whose dishwasher components carry across several badges, so drain pumps, inlet valves, latches, spray arms and door seals are usually available locally without a long wait. Difficulty arrives with model-specific electronic boards and with certain assemblies on discontinued ranges, where the lead time or the price becomes the thing that decides repair against replacement, rather than the fault itself. We check supply against your rating plate before we quote, never afterwards.
Yes, and you will hear it at the visit rather than discover it two months later. Where the machine needs a part costing a serious fraction of a replacement, or needs two such parts at once, we say so and show you what we found behind the panel. You settle the diagnosis charge and nothing else. Advice like that loses us the job every single time we give it, which is precisely why it carries weight on the occasions we look at a machine and recommend going ahead.
Often not. A cycle that dies early usually points at heating or at drainage, and both begin with inexpensive checks. With the machine isolated we read the element resistance cold, compare the temperature sensor against its expected curve, then clear the filter stack and sump before condemning anything. One caveat governs the price: where the heater is a flow-through type built into the wash pump housing, the two arrive as a single assembly, so we establish the layout from your model number before naming a figure.
Ninety days on the parts we fit and on the labour to fit them. UAE Cabinet Decision 66/2023 puts the statutory floor at fifteen days for repair work, and obliges the repairer to provide a documented estimate, obtain your consent before starting and issue an itemised invoice at the end. Expect all three, from us or from anyone else you call. If the machine remains inside its original manufacturer warranty, ring the brand before you ring us. We will say that on the phone, not after the booking.
Diagnosis first, verdict second, quote third. If the sensible answer is a new machine, you hear that instead of an invoice for a part.
Stops early, never fills, leaves water in the base, will not lock shut, or runs a full cycle and leaves the load dirty. Each one lands in a different price band.
