Siemens UAE publishes six dishwasher error code pages and puts a meaning on only four of them. We will tell you which four, and what we do about the two it leaves blank.
We are an independent repair company โ not an authorized service center of Siemens or of any other dishwasher manufacturer, and not appointed by any of them. The Siemens name appears here only to identify the machines we repair, and all trademarks remain the property of their owners.

Siemens dishwasher repair in Dubai nearly always begins with a short code on the display, so it is worth knowing how much of that code the manufacturer is prepared to explain.
Siemens UAE maintains its own dishwasher error code pages. Six of them exist. Only four carry a meaning.
E15 is given as the water protection system having activated. E19 is given as a problem with the dispenser or an internal valve. E24 is given as one reason could be a blocked pump. E25 is given as one reason could be a blocked pump โ the same sentence as E24, word for word, with nothing offered to separate the two.
E09 and E11 each have a page of their own. Neither page states what the code means. Both advise the reader not to attempt a repair, and that is the entire content.
We could fill those two blanks with definitions harvested from forums and present them as fact. Most pages on this subject do, which is why they all agree with each other and none agree with the manufacturer. We do not, because a guessed meaning a customer acts on costs more than an admitted gap.
It is also worth being clear about what a code is. It names a condition the machine detected, not a component that failed. E24 does not say your pump is dead; it says drainage did not finish in the time the software allows. The gap between those two statements is where an unnecessary part gets sold.
This page sets out what is published, what is not, and what we do in each case.
Four of these six carry a manufacturer meaning. Two do not, and we would rather say so than fill the gap with something invented.
A published meaning, and a genuinely useful one. The anti-flood float in the base tray has lifted, so water is somewhere it should not be or foam has overflowed. Stopping the cycle was correct behaviour, not a malfunction.
The most specific line Siemens publishes for any of the six: a problem with the dispenser or an internal valve. Narrow enough to be worth something before anything is opened up.
Note the hedge in the wording. Siemens writes one reason, not the reason. So the whole drain path is checked rather than just the pump, starting at the filter because that part costs nothing to rule out.
Siemens publishes for E25 precisely what it publishes for E24, word for word. No distinction is offered anywhere, so we do not manufacture one. Same route, same order, same first checks.
Siemens has a page for this code and declines to define it, advising only against self-repair. It gets diagnosed at the component with a meter, on your machine, never from a chart.
The same position as E09. No published meaning anywhere on the Siemens UAE pages, so it is measured rather than looked up, and quoted from what the measurement shows.

Local dishwasher content repeats one claim endlessly: Dubai has hard water. It does not.
Dubai supply is roughly ninety-nine percent desalinated seawater. Desalination strips hardness out almost completely, and the re-mineralisation that follows is deliberately restrained. What arrives at your inlet valve is soft. The hard-water claim carries no published source we could find, and it travels mainly through people whose business is selling softeners.
So we publish no hardness figure on this page, because no figure was verifiable. Set the machine from your own manual with a test strip. Do not default to the maximum hardness setting, constant salt topping-up or a monthly descaling ritual. None of those are warranted here, and the first two cost you money every month for nothing.
Nor does it vary by district. One production and distribution network feeds the city, so the notion that Marina water behaves differently from Downtown water is not a real thing. What does vary between buildings is the storage tank.
Two local factors are real, and both are seasonal.
Inlet temperature. Uninsulated rooftop tanks in Dubai summer have been reported at fifty to sixty degrees, and villa cold lines at thirty-five to forty. A dishwasher expects an inlet of somewhere around forty-nine degrees at most. Above that the heating phase is truncated or skipped entirely, enzyme detergents are denatured before they reach the protein soils they were formulated to break down, egg and milk residues bake onto the load instead of dissolving off it, and upper-basket plastics begin to distort. It presents as poor cleaning, so the owner buys stronger tablets. The tablet was never the problem.
Tank sediment. Residential water tanks here are required to be cleaned at least twice a year, and the ones that quietly are not will silt up. That sediment finds the fine mesh screen inside the inlet valve, the machine fills slowly, and a fill fault follows a season later. A villa owner owns that tank outright; a tower runs on a facilities-management schedule. Either way, ask when yours was last cleaned before anyone starts changing valves.
Six steps, two of which are rights UAE law already gives you and almost nobody in this trade mentions.
If the machine is still inside its manufacturer warranty, ring Siemens before you ring us. You have already paid for that cover and it costs you nothing to use. We will say so on the phone rather than quietly take the booking.
Model number from the door edge, the code from the display, and where the model supports it the stored fault memory. A code described over the phone is a useful starting point, never a finished diagnosis.
Filter, sump, spray arm jets, hose run, tablet dose and the inlet mesh screen all come before any part is named. On E24 and E25 that ordering alone settles a meaningful share of visits with nothing bought.
Cabinet Decision 66/2023 Article 26 entitles you to a written estimate and requires your agreement before work starts. That is your right with any repairer in the country, not a favour we are doing you.
Parts and labour listed separately, required by the same article of the same law. A repairer who will not itemise what you paid for is worth noticing at the time rather than later.
Parts and labour carry a ninety-day warranty. The statutory minimum on repair work is fifteen days, so ours sits well clear of the floor. If the same fault comes back inside the window, so do we.
Some Siemens codes clear after five minutes of housekeeping. Others should not be chased with a screwdriver, and we will say which.
One caution worth repeating: E22 appears on the Bosch UAE pages and does not appear on the Siemens UAE ones. The two tables genuinely differ, so a Bosch chart read across to a Siemens machine can send you after a part that was never involved.

The symptom sitting behind most E24 and E25 readings, worked through in cost order.
For when the filter and hose are genuinely clear and the pump itself is the answer.
The other pump in the machine, and the one blamed least often when cleaning falls off.
The sister brand, with its own separate published table. E22 lives over there, not here.
A different manufacturer, a different published table, and a different parts economy again.
Siemens UAE publishes one line for it: the water protection system has activated. That is a real manufacturer meaning rather than a guess, and it tells you the anti-flood float in the base tray has lifted because water has collected where it should not be. What it does not tell you is why. The two we find most often in Dubai are a slow seep from a hose joint or a tired door seal, and foam overflowing from an over-dosed tablet. The machine has done its job by stopping. The work is finding the source, not clearing the code.
On the Siemens UAE pages they are described identically. Both read that one reason could be a blocked pump โ the same sentence, word for word, on both codes. We would rather tell you that than invent a distinction so the page sounds more expert than the manufacturer. In practice both send us down the same road: filter, sump, drain hose run, non-return flap, then the pump itself, checked in that order because that is also the cheapest order. If the two do separate on your particular model, it shows up in the measurements rather than in any published table.
Siemens UAE has a page for each of them, and neither page states a meaning. Both simply advise the reader not to attempt a repair, and stop there. That is the honest answer, and it is the one nobody else gives you, because filling a blank with something plausible always reads better than admitting the blank exists. Practically it means these two are diagnosed on the machine rather than from a chart. We measure at the component, establish which circuit has actually reported, and quote from that. A guessed definition acted on as fact is how the wrong part gets fitted.
Almost certainly not, and this catches a lot of people out. E22 appears on the Bosch UAE code pages and does not appear on the Siemens UAE ones at all. The two brands sit under the same parent group, which makes it tempting to assume the tables are interchangeable. They are not. Codes present on one site are absent from the other, and wording that looks transferable was written against a different machine range. Reading a Bosch chart to a Siemens machine can point you at a component that was never implicated. Match the chart to the badge on your door.
No, and this is where most local advice goes wrong. Dubai supply is roughly ninety-nine percent desalinated seawater, re-mineralised afterwards to a modest level, so it reaches you soft rather than hard. The hard-water claim that fills local articles carries no published source and tends to travel through people selling softeners. Set hardness from your own manual using a test strip, not from a blog. If your glasses have gone permanently cloudy, that is usually etching caused by soft water plus too much detergent, and adding more detergent or salt makes it worse. Etching does not wipe off. Limescale does.
Call Siemens first, and we will tell you the same thing if you ring us instead. A manufacturer warranty is cover you have already paid for, and using it costs you nothing. Come to us once that period has ended, when the brand has quoted more than the machine is worth, or when you want a second opinion on a diagnosis. Separately, Cabinet Decision 66/2023 Article 26 entitles you to a documented estimate and your consent before work starts, an itemised invoice after it, and a minimum of fifteen days of warranty on the repair. Ours runs ninety.
E15, E19, E24 and E25 carry published meanings. E09 and E11 do not, so those get measured on the machine instead of guessed. Price agreed before any work.
The model number sits on the door edge or the inner frame. With that and the code, we can usually tell you what to expect before anyone arrives.
