In most of Dubai, a washing machine repair is a mechanical job. In Downtown it is a mechanical job carried out inside a finished interior. The machine is usually integrated — concealed behind a cabinet front that was made to match the rest of the kitchen — and it is standing on marble, large-format porcelain or engineered timber that marks if a heavy appliance is dragged across it.
That is why our technicians treat the removal as part of the repair rather than a preliminary to it. The decor panel is unclipped rather than levered. The drum is drained down in a controlled way before the machine is moved, because a partially full machine tipping forward on a tiled floor is how a small repair becomes an insurance claim.
