F05, F06, F02 or a code like F8E1 on the display? Whirlpool uses two different code systems depending on where the machine was built. We read both, confirm the real fault on site, and repair at your home across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi & Ajman.
UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C is an independent repair company. We are not an authorized Whirlpool service centre and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Whirlpool. The Whirlpool name is used here only to identify the machines we repair.

Whirlpool is unusual in the UAE market because it sells machines built on two genuinely different platforms, and they do not speak the same language. European-built models report faults as two-digit F-codes β F01 through to roughly F18. American-built models use a paired format such as F8E1 or F9E1, where the first part identifies the system and the second narrows the cause.
The practical consequence is that a code alone is ambiguous. "F5" means nothing until we know which platform your machine is from, and a technician who assumes the wrong one will chase the wrong component. This is the single most common reason Whirlpool owners get a misdiagnosis from a general handyman.
So when you contact us about a Whirlpool, we ask for the model number alongside the code. It takes you thirty seconds to photograph the sticker inside the door rim, and it is the difference between a technician arriving with the right part and arriving to guess.
The two-digit F-code family used on European-built Whirlpool machines, which are the majority in UAE homes.
Control board fault. Main electronic board or its motor drive circuit β tested before any board is replaced.
Motor / tacho fault. Motor not reporting speed correctly. Brushes, tacho coil or wiring.
NTC sensor fault. Temperature sensor out of range β often alongside a machine washing cold.
Pressure switch fault. Water level sensor or its hose blocked, split or disconnected.
Drain fault. Not emptying in time. Blocked pump filter, blocked drain hose or failed pump.
Door lock fault. Interlock not confirming the door is closed and locked.
Heater relay fault. Heating circuit not switching correctly at the board.
Heating element fault. Element failure, or the element firing while not properly immersed.
Overfill / software. Too much water detected, or a stored software fault needing a reset and retest.
No heating detected. Water not reaching temperature within the expected time.
Communication fault. Main board and display board not talking β connector, loom or board.
Door lock / unlock. The door failed to lock, or failed to release at the end of the cycle.
American-built Whirlpool models use a different, paired format β codes such as F8E1 for a water supply fault or F9E1 for a drain fault. Send us the model number with the code and we will tell you which system yours uses.

Across UAE homes, Whirlpool machines concentrate their failures in a small set of components:
Every Whirlpool format found in UAE homes and small businesses.
Sensor-driven machines where diagnosis leans on pressure and temperature sensor readings.
The mainstream European range β pumps, door locks, elements, bearings and boards.
Including American-built models β agitator, clutch, lid switch and drain valve repairs.
Combined units β heating, condenser and moisture sensor faults on the drying side.
Larger-capacity machines using the paired F#E# code system, diagnosed on their own logic.
Machines behind cabinet fronts, removed on floor protection and refitted flush.
App-linked machines that report a fault code to your phone β send it before we arrive.
Whirlpool machines on high daily cycles in laundries, salons and staff accommodation.
We are not an authorized Whirlpool service centre. UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C is a private, independent repair company holding UAE trade licence number 134585. We have no affiliation with Whirlpool, no endorsement from Whirlpool, and no authorization from Whirlpool to carry out warranty work.
If your washing machine is still within its manufacturer warranty period, contact Whirlpool or the retailer you bought it from first β a repair carried out by an independent company can affect that cover. Our service is intended for machines that are out of warranty, or where the owner has decided to use an independent repairer.
The spare parts we fit are high-quality OEM-standard compatible components. Where a group-equivalent part is a correct match for your model, we will tell you that is what is being used, along with the cost, before it goes in.
On a Whirlpool the model decides which code system applies, so we ask for it before anything else.
Pump, door lock, sensors, heater and motor tested in order rather than assumed from the code.
Exact price for parts and labour before dismantling. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
Common Whirlpool-group pumps, locks and sensors are carried on the van for single-visit repairs.
Complete cycle run, heating, drain and spin confirmed, machine re-levelled before we leave.

No. We are UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, a private independent repair company licensed in the UAE under trade licence 134585. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized service provider of Whirlpool. We repair Whirlpool machines as an independent third party and use the brand name only to identify the machines we work on.
Because Whirlpool sells machines built on two different platforms. European-built models use a two-digit F-code system running from F01 to around F18. American-built models use a paired format such as F8E1 or F9E1. They are not interchangeable, so the same fault can look completely different depending on where your machine was made. That is why we ask for the model number as well as the code.
On European-built Whirlpool models F05 is a drain fault β the machine has not emptied within the expected time. The usual causes are a blocked pump filter, a blocked or kinked drain hose, or a failed drain pump. It is one of the more common and least expensive Whirlpool repairs, and quite often the filter simply needs clearing.
6th Sense is Whirlpool's sensing system that adjusts water, time and energy to the size and type of the load. It means the machine relies more heavily on its sensors than a basic model does, so faults with the pressure sensor, the NTC temperature sensor or their wiring can produce odd behaviour rather than a clean failure β cycles running very long, or stopping at unexpected points. Those symptoms are diagnosed on sensor readings rather than by guesswork.
Yes. Whirlpool acquired Indesit Company in 2014, which brought Indesit, Hotpoint and Ariston into the same group. Equivalent European models share a great deal of platform engineering and use the same style of F-code diagnostics, so components frequently overlap. That widens parts availability in the UAE and helps keep repair costs down.
If your machine is still within its manufacturer warranty period, contact Whirlpool or your retailer first, because a repair by any third party can affect that cover. Our service is intended for out-of-warranty machines, or where the owner has chosen to use an independent repairer. Tell us the age of the machine and we will say honestly if you should call the manufacturer instead.
On a Whirlpool the model number is as important as the code. Photograph both and send them on WhatsApp β we will tell you what the fault points to before you commit.
The model number is on a sticker inside the door rim or on the rear panel. On a Whirlpool it decides which code system applies, so please include it.
